The decision taken since 2008 to establish an International Formation centre for the African Brothers was in the right direction. To work on the new complex is under completion and hopefully by the 1st week in July 2013, this magnificent building, the 2nd of its kind in Africa after the Interprovincial Novitiate in Lome (Togo).
History shall never be complete if we do not express our gratitude to Br. Donatus Forkan who was a visionary in implementing this project, not forgetting also, Br. Robert Chakanna and his team for their courageous efforts in consenting to it during their term of leadership.
This building will host 25 Brothers at a time either for post novitiate spiritual formation or Sabatical programmes. This total cost of this project is Euros 1,050,000.
We appreciate the line of actions taken by the present Provincial Superior and Definitory and the team on the ground( Br. Jose Soria and Br. Nicholas Nsale) to realize the implementation of this project. We would like to render our gratitude to the whole Order especially the G-8 Provinces that have contributed immensely to achieve the completion of this project. We pray that the Brothers will utilize this building for its purpose.
