The Prior General, Brother Jesús Etayo, arrived in Accra on the morning of October 10, 2015 accompanied by the two General Councillors, Brothers Benigno and Pascal, and by the Secretary-General, Brother André. The Brothers were greeted by the Provincial, Brother Barthelémy, the district leaders and all the Brothers and Co-workers from the Provincial Curia community. The meeting was all and joyful, as is normal in Africa, to the music and rhythm of the dances and songs in honour of the guests.
The official events began on October 12 at the Provincial Curia attended by the Brothers from different countries making up the Province: Ghana, Sierra Leone, Senegal and Cameroon. In particular, the points that the Province should strengthen to be able to address the challenges that lie ahead were emphasised.
On the 13th the Provincial Definitory met to deal with specific matters such as formation, and the future of Nguti and the Province.
On the 14th, the ceremony inaugurating the Saint John of God clinic at Ahraia was health, and celebrating the 25thanniversary of the religious profession of Brothers Ambroise Déry and Linus Winkar. These events were accompanied by traditional Ghanaian songs and dances.
